We come into a service with a praise and prayerful heart. As we enter into the worship, the Lord pours down His acceptance. We are moved by the awesome presence of Jesus and we are caught up in a wind so that our feet on the floor feel like it’s moving. The love we feel is so pure and a cleansing feeling just runs over our hearts. We sit and listen to the Word of God that totally empties us out and fills us up. We feel strong in the Lord and ready to go out and live in His presence and His word. The altar is filled with people who want to seek Him more. A dismissal prayer is prayed that just pushes us out to do God’s work. Then saying our good-byes, a statement is made, “I got such a blessing watching you worship the Lord”. We nod in silent agreement trying not to offend, but our response back to this person should have been, “watching me, you should have been watching the Lord”. Hello…. are we worshipping for the eyes of religion or are we worshipping the Lord, our creator?
